*An annual gas boiler check involves a Gas Safe registered engineer inspecting your gas boiler. They will check the appliance is working correctly and will check the following four areas:

  1. The boiler is on the right settings and burning correctly with the correct operating pressure
  2. Harmful gases are being removed from the appliance safely to the air outside
  3. That any ventilation routes are clear and working properly
  4. All the safety devices are working

The gas engineer will check and identify any defects which may require remedial work.

You should always book an annual boiler check to minimise the risk of exposing your family to carbon monoxide poisoning.
